Charismatic Renewal - A New (old) Thing?
Hi RAIN friends:
I was really impressed in my heart today, while I was at my church, with a thought that I believe the Holy Spirit was showing me to pray for His desire -- an awakening for America -- on the scale of what happened from the mid-sixties to the eighties -- in the Charismatic Renewal / Jesus Movement. I wasn't a Christian then, but have taken a class on the renewal, and it was just so strongly impressed to pray for a NEW THING in America -- a renewal of His Church (AGAIN). I saw a vision along these lines last week -- a bride lay sleeping and Jesus walked up to her, blew on her and said, "Arise!" (and He breathed on them and said "Receive the Holy Spirit). I just thought that some of you would have a heart to agree with me for AWAKENING in the Church in America!! true we must revive our churches in the moving of the Holy Spirit that he has to present day and many still do not recognize or do not care

True that many don't yet care, but I think that the intercessory burdens are precisely for the purpose of breaking up the spiritual ground (so to speak)in the spirit! I think our anointed prayer for revival and Holy Spirit led and anointed preaching, in the power of the Holy Spirit, will begin the revival!
