Hi Jim,
Just thinking and throwing out a question to you - what are you finding the true undertone to be in India? There is a lot going in that country and my heart has been turning toward that area quite frequently of late. Just wondering what you were picking up while there? Love you guys! Praying for strength and quietness of heart to enable you to hear the voice of the Father in these days.
Blessings. . . Carol

Pastor Jim-

I realized later that your time of writing came at a good time. I was feeling a little stuck getting going on the assignments for the third class. I felt like it pushed me over the hump. The assignments have been grueling for me.

One of the books were reading in this class is The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It's a little off the charts for me. And maybe something that I need to get a hold of. It's pretty heady with so far three simple thoughts that have been elaborated on: You're the programmer, Write the program, Run the program/ Live the program. I guess it's an expanded time management process to really be a life management. There seems to be some applications that I can use. But I have been struggling getting over the hurdle of myself being the program writer. It seems to not leave room for the Lord to give direction. I think the main reason that I'm even taking the class is because of a prophetic word. Anyways I'm still trying to make it fit.

Parts of the curriculum is hard for me to bite off. But I feel like it lets me reevaluate what I believe. They (my teachers) seem to treat me well even when I come from a different angle that they do not agree with me on. I've had some interesting dialogues with them. I like them.

I noticed your Paris trip. I will pray. John

Thanks for the encouragement Jim. It seems right, but blindly so to me. At this juncture in time, I don't want to get side tracked.

Hi Jim,

I started the next class for prison ministry on Monday. I felt like it was right but felt unsure with the financial part. I was at a Hub meeting Sunday night where a woman who's name is Marie Chapian spoke. When she ministered to me she said, "go forth in the ministry I've given you, you will not believe the miracles." So Yes.

Could I ask for your prayers in regard to using time effectively. And I also have a few larger jobs that have gone unpaid so far.

Thanks - John
